Catching the sunrise with ZoukOut 2017
So how many of you managed to survive day 1 and party your souls off in day 2 till dawn?
While Day 1 saw familar names such as the DJ Snake, Flume and 88Rising which consist of the Higher Brothers/Okasian/Rich Chigga, people were hyped up during their set and can be seen rushing forward to the pit where all the fun is at. There were also multiple food options available such as ramen and burgers for the hungry ones which we thought was pretty good and reasonably priced.
Zoukout Day 2 was definitely a day which many anticipated as famous DJs Robin Schulz, Yellowclaw, Marshmello and Axwell & Ingrosso took over the main stage when the night falls. German DJ Robin Schulz got the party dreamers waking up at midnight with his set and yet bringing them back in to another “Sugar” fantasy. And he sure did not left us out in the dark, with the crowd raving as a sign.
After which was one of the most mysterious music producers, Marshmello’s Set. He smashed the stage with one of the biggest hits of 2017 (Silence. ft Khalid). Known for his progressive house trap music, we managed to notice the amount of head bangers in the crowd. It was definitely quite a sight at that very moment.
As we’re almost hitting dawn, light slowly breaks onto the stage when Axwell & Ingrosso jumped right in. The strobe lights highlighting the countdown of their performance with the hit song “Don’t You Worry Child” which brings back memories and set you into the mood as party goers dance from dusk till dawn.
To end off the festival, Zouk resident DJs – Ghetto & Matthew usher in the sun together with the crowd. With over 40 strobe lights, 8 lasers, 834 LED panels, CO2 jets, and pyrotechnics, and an elaborated stage set-up, ZoukOut definitely outdone itself this year.
